Hairstyles : Let's Have Some Fringes
Whether you call it bangs or fringe, this layered hairstyle seems to capture the trend once again.
Many people live with their lifetime stock of bangs while other people detest any sorts of fringe there are. Like with most hairstyles, layered hairstyles or not, fringes or bangs (if you prefer) do not always suit the type of hair or face shape of virtually any person.
Fringes seem to be the natural by product of layered hairstyles. However, some choose not to wear them, which in turn focus the layers at the backside of the head. But why do fringes come in and out of fashion? No body can exactly detail how. Nevertheless, the fact would still remain that layered hairstyles with bangs can instantly create awesome changes. They, in a sense can create sizzling new looks without having to cut short your hair. Plus the fact that bangs can complement any type of hairstyles.
However, the problem comes with the selection of fringes. Thinking that they come in the same fashion. Think again. Your mind may even blow with the selection that will arrest you. Lowlights, chips, highlights, layered and choppy are only to mention some.
If you are considering placing fringes on your hair yet unsure what type to get, we recommend you to read the types of fringes below.
Straight hair fringes- extremely straight hair must be balanced with blunt and shorter fringes. When attempting to color your hair, you can be as outrageous or as simple as you would prefer. Some people with straight fringes match the color of their bangs with the present color of their hair body. However, some find great effects on using contrasting colors. With a classic look such as the straight fringe, you can do almost anything and everything in between.
Angled fringes- these are basically composed of varying bang lengths. A few sections cut short and some that flows longer distinguish these bangs. This is best for adding angles and in diminishing the prominence of your cheekbones. Squared off fringes, on the other hand, will create new angles for round faces.
Long fringes- if you are fighting with too wavy or curly hair, long bangs will do good for you. In opposition with baby bangs, long fringes can help shorten your face.
Unluckily, naturally wavy or too curly hair may not present the most from any types of bangs without investing time on arranging them. If your forehead hair curls up easily, fringes may not be a good choice for you since they may indefinitely become uncontrollable.
For cases of prominent and pointy edges, you can do magic with your face by wearing side-swept layered bangs. Or play with one-sided bangs to sharpen you facial features.
If you are fancying with the idea of softening both your hair texture and over-all bangs effect, you can choose to wear feathered fringe.
If your hair diverts people's attention from looking at you in your face, it would be best to add some highlights on your bangs. The great thing is, you can maintain your fringe look if you want them but if you don't, they will easily grow out.
Meanwhile, long hairs can benefit from all forms of bangs or fringes. So if you are tired of looking at the mirror with that old, same, classic look, you may choose from a wide selection of fringes to create a refreshing look without having to sacrifice length.
