Hong Kong Park was one of the nicer places we discovered during this trip. It's near Pacific Place, near the MTR Admiralty Station. We stayed at JW Marriott Hotel which is in the same area. It was our second time to stay at JW Marriott and we will stay there again next time.

Hong Kong Park is a nice place to bring your kid. It has fountains, falls, lakes, fish ponds, greenery, right smack in the middle of the city. It's a free park that one can go to. There's a playground of 4-5 levels, with different slides and other brightly-colored play things. There are also diggers that kids can actually work but if you come in the afternoon, you will have to wait awhile for your turn.
There are also aviaries where one can see all sorts of birds in an almost-natural environment. Our favorite part of the park though was the Conservatory where one can see different kinds of plants.

The Display Plants Section had colorful orchids, violets, and begonias. The Dry Plants Section had all sorts (e.g. round, flat, tall) of cacti. The Humid Plants Section had anthuriums, banana plant, and other types of greens. The over-all feel of the place was so relaxing.
