I don't believe it. Who'd've thought I'd be posting replies to blog-journs? In Mona's April 5, 2002 entry [In Web Limbo No More], she wonders why I wrote "kakainggit ka" (trans: 'you are enviable')
Imagine -- you have a family, a corporate life, html skills, plus content, content, content online. A genealogy tree online, a site for your fellow alumnae. Where do you find the time? And how'd you get to write so well?
Dense. Blind. That's what we are to our own blessings, our own capabilities. That's also what we are to people around us, as we zip through "life." For all I know, Mona had that writing talent ever since college, or perhaps even earlier. Never realized she's such a funny person.
I'm amazed it required the internet to discover something best unearthed in a more social situation. Like school. Or the office. Or whatever spot far removed from computers.
Anyway, I'd best finish that photo essay. Two journal entries in less than 7 days is so unlike me, the recent Renaissance Daddy.

Bumped into my college classmate online -- Mona Magno-Veluz. Never realized that she likes to write and to build web sites. I guess I'm going to enjoy getting to know this Renaissance Girl.
My friend Dindin ribs me with: "Write, write..." Working on a photo essay. Abangan.
Renaissance. Rebirth. That's what it feels like when Ali wakes up hungry at 10pm, 12mn, 2am, 3am, and 5am. Heck, I didn't even have time to watch the TV coverage of Rico Yan last night like my bleary-eyed friends. The only "renaissance" spirit I feel at the moment are my 14th century bones.
Anyway, abangan...
(Mona, kakainggit ka.)
