Tess Gerritsen is a doctor of internal medicine, who later became a writer. I sometimes wonder, though, if her medical thriller fans would rave as much if she quickly jumped into writing instead of spending all those years in the field of medicine. Tess Gerritsen will be a constant reminder that all things come in due time, and that waiting can be worthwhile. Unless, of course, you're a fan of manggang hilaw (green mango). =)
