Cignal HD Satellite TV

Now's the time to enjoy High Definition or HD TV with Cignal Satellite TV.

Cignal TV offers you prepaid and postpaid plans. All you need is a Valid ID and an accomplished Subscription Application Form, plus (for those of you going for the postpaid plan) Proof of Billing and Proof of Income.

Please note that the HD Plans start with Postpaid Plan 590. There is an Outright Purchase Plan and a Lease Plan.

Postpaid Plan 1290 (HD) - 46 channels with 9 HD channels
Postpaid Plan 990 (HD) - 40 channels with 5 HD channels
Postpaid Plan 590 (HD) - 31 channels with 2 HD channels
Postpaid Plan 390 (SD) - 23 channels
Postpaid Plan 250 (SD) - 16 channels

(We don't quite understand, however, why these above numbers don't tally with their table showing their line-up of channels, and check marks under each type of plan. For example, we saw 15 check marks under Plan 250, and 21 check marks under Plan 390.)

Postpaid Plan 590 (HD) - Lease
Monthly Subscription Fee - P590 (for the first box)
Monthly Outlet Fee - P230 for the first box, P230 for each of the 2nd/3rd box

Postpaid Plan 590 (HD) - Outright Purchase
Cignal Kit - P4,500 for the first box, P6,490 for each of the 2nd/3rd box
Monthly subscription fee - P590 (for the first box)
One-Time Processing Fee - P700 per box, starting with the 2nd box

For the Prepaid Plans, you have Plan 250, Plan 390, and Plan 590.

The Cignal Kit costs P3,500 for Plan 250 and Plan 390. In the case of Plan 590, the Cignal Kit costs P8,500 (this allows you to watch HD channels).

The Monthly Load Fee is P250, P390, and P590 (in accordance with the Plan name).

I asked the Cignal TV salesrep: How do we reload or pay for our prepaid subscription?

Simply remit the payment via LBC or make a deposit in their BDO bank account, then call up their office and show proof of payment (e.g., fax the BDO deposit slip), and they will activate your month's Cignal TV subscription.

Cignal HD TV Terms and Conditions

1. There's a lock-in period of 36 months for Postpaid subscription. Pre-termination fees will apply.

2. Cignal Satellite Kit includes Satellite Dish, Set Top Box, Remote Control and Cignal Card.

3. Minimum Installation Fee of P1,000 applies. May vary depending on location and materials needed. For your 2nd and 3rd box, installation charge is P500 if installation is performed together with the first box. Otherwise, standard installation fee applies. Additional cable costs P12.50/100cm. Line amplifiers cost P700, while Splitters costs P575.

4. There's a FREE installation of up to P1,000 for Plans 990 and 1290 only.

5. Postpaid lease subscription requires signed lock-in agreement and outlet agreement forms.
