WordPress 3.2 and Screen ErrorsAre you unable to change blog post settings because the screen options don't seem to work after you upgraded to a higher version of WordPress? [an error occurred while processing this directive]It might be an error caused by your WP theme. Simply switch to the default WP theme and see if the error persists. If you're now able to change the publish settings of your blog post, then perhaps the earlier error was caused by your theme. But what if you're still experiencing WordPress dashboard errors? It might be one of your plugins. In that case, patiently deactivate your plugins one at a time, and test if that solves your problem. Yes, it can be such a pain, but that may be better than deactivating all your plugins and then switching them back on one at a time. Most likely, the problem will be an old plugin. There are some plugins, for example, which no longer work in WordPress 3.2 and it will help a lot if the plugin developers will release a working version. And incidentally, that's one of the reasons why you shouldn't immediately upgrade your main website or blog to the latest version of WordPress. Are you using S3FlowShield? Please make sure you've installed at least version 3.55 (that was the problem in another blog). If you're in a hurry, then clone your existing blog (via WPTwin, for example) and set-up the clone in another webserver. You can then upgrade WordPress on that test server and see what happens. Just bear in mind, however, that not all WP plugin settings are cloned by WPTwin. Anyway, that's it for the moment. We will add blogging and WordPress tips in the coming weeks. :-) Panuorin Mo Ito...
