BDO UITF Investing

I asked my friends in BDO about investing in their UITFs or unit investment trust funds, so I can share with you investment tips on how to make your money grow.

You can start with as low as P10,000 (please take note that additional investments may be made: minimum of P10,000)

You can also automatically move funds from your BDO CA/SA account in order to buy UITFs (fixed income, bonds, equity, balanced). For example, every 15th and 30th of the month.

But if the amount you move is less than P10,000 then they will accumulate those funds until you reach P10,000 before they get more UITFs for you.

Here are examples of BDO UITFs:

  • BDO Peso Money Market Fund
  • BDO Peso Bond Fund
  • BDO Peso Fixed Income Fund
  • BDO Peso Balanced Fund
  • BDO Dollar Money Market Fund
  • BDO Dollar Bond Fund
  • BDO GS Fund (formerly EPCIB GS Fund)
  • BDO Equity Fund (formerly EPCIB Equity Fund)
  • BDO Medium Term Dollar Bond Fund

You can easily view the Daily Navpu values at http://uitf.com.ph

Please take note of the UITF Risk Disclosure:

INVESTMENT IN THE UITF DOES NOT PROVIDE GUARANTEED RETURNS EVEN IF INVESTED IN GOVERNMENT SECURITIES AND HIGH-GRADE PRIME INVESTMENT OUTLETS. PRINCIPAL AND EARNINGS FROM INVESTMENT IN THE FUND CAN BE LOST IN WHOLE OR IN PART WHEN THE NAVPU AT THE TIME OF REDEMPTION IS LOWER THAN THE NAVPU AT THE TIME OF PARTICIPATION. Gains from investment is realized when the NAVpu at the time of redemption is higher than the NAVpu at the time of participation.

You can read the UITF Risk Disclosure statement online.

If you've been inspired by books of Bo Sanchez, Francisco Colayco, or Larry Gamboa, then please learn more about investing in UITFs today.
