Congratulations to Christine Gambito (HappySlip.com)! I got an email from Xoom announcing the launch of the Lola In Trouble video.

It's a humorous take on life in the Philippines and the US, and the way remittances flow back and forth between our two countries. Yup, positive flow coming here; negative flow going there. :-)

It also reveals how many of us are creatures of habit, and how we tend to shun the sometimes more convenient ways of doing things. I'm reminded of people who blurt "I'm not hi-tetch" when confronted with this.

This also brings to mind how impatience sometimes (often?) flickers on our faces when we try (yet fail) to transfer to our loved ones our enthusiasm for technology.

At any rate, I hope this helps inspire other Filipino YouTubers to keep producing videos. I assume you really enjoy doing this, because that will help sustain you. Plus, your passion will attract an audience...

...and advertisers will notice. ;-)
