Of particular interest is the Salinawit where Pete Lacaba takes a popular non-Tagalog song, and then translates it into Tagalog or Filipino. This is no ordinary, straightforward translation. The lyrics have to flow with the melody.

Yes, that's quite difficult. And that's what makes salinawit (awit is Tagalog for song) amazing.
