Homemade Halloween Costumes

If you're thinking of making homemade Halloween costumes, better start early.

I remember when I helped make a Halloween costume of sorts. It was a crow, and we had some kind of black cloth poncho. To make the costume less boring, I got some Elmer's glue and drew feather-like designs on the black cloth.

Before the glue dried, I sprinkled some blue glitters on the glue. The result: some bluish embossed design on the crow-like Halloween costume.

Will I do something like it again this year? Afterall, there's still a good 8 weeks before the end of October. Well... I'll probably not strain my back for this again. Besides, my kids are older now, and they'll probably be happy simply using masks.

Then again, would they like to dress up as an: Alien, Astronaut, Bumble Bee, Cookie, Fire Fighter, Frumpy Housewives, Knight, Mermaid, Race Car Driver, Soda Can, Zorro, and other fun Halloween get-ups in ILoveHalloweenCostumes.com?

If you do prefer to make sure your children have great-looking outfits for Hallow's Eve, you can try browsing eBay for home-brewed costume ideas before the clock strikes midnight on Halloween!
