Blogger Annamanila's Ode2Old
I enjoyed watching Myrna Co (Annamanila) on the Lifestyle channel this afternoon.
[an error occurred while processing this directive]I particularly like the way she gamely engages the TV audience and how she draws you in with her gentle voice, her smiling eyes, and her sincere explanation of how she got started with blogging. She bravely shares her fears about retirement, as well as her uncertainties about a life that may be bereft of purpose.
Yet she inspires not just senior citizens, but people of all ages, as she narrates interesting stories about her life in her blog Ode2Old (http://ode2old.blogspot.com).
It's no surprise her children are very proud of her. How many bloggers have you read whose stories flow as lyrically as those of Annamanila? And how many bloggers have you seen so relaxed under the glare of kleig lights and the unblinking stare of a TV camera?
I was impressed. And proud. And inspired.
I hope that when my someday comes, I'll be able to write and express myself like Myrna Co: with grace, wit, charm, elegance, and style. In the meantime, there's Ode2Old.
