Display Philippine News Automatically

A reader asks how to display Philippine news items, content, and articles on their site automatically.

Here's the secret: You need to find RSS feeds. For example:

=> http://services.inquirer.net/rss/rss.php

Next, you'll need a program which will get those RSS feeds, convert them to HTML, which you can then insert into your web pages. Check out CaRP:

=> http://www.geckotribe.com/rss/carp/

Usually, RSS feeds may be used for non-commercial purposes. For commercial use, you'll need to get in touch with the owner of the RSS feed.

I haven't tried this, so I don't know how much they'll charge. The fees will most likely vary, depending on which organization would like to use the rss feeds.

Ideally, your web site should contain content other than just syndicated articles. Search engines tend to bury sites that contain mostly syndicated content.
