OpenOffice Grammar Checker

OpenOffice does not have a built-in grammar checker. You'll need to install an external checker.

coGrOO is an OpenOffice Grammar Checker. It may seem quite daunting to install, especially for those who are being weaned away from MS Office. Still, are you willing to pay PhP15,000 just so that you can have a program that doesn't even do a good job of checking your grammar?

Alternatively, you can also try AbiWord, which is an open-source (free) word processor. It comes with a free grammar checking utility.
