Philippines Election 2007 Podcast

The Inquirer.net launches the Eleksyon 2007 podcast.

Thanks to Jayvee Fernandez, I found out about the first Philippines Election 2007 podcast episode which features Senatorial aspirant Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III.

In spite of the technical difficulties (e.g., varying volumes, audio moving from right to left, interviewers and interviewee sound like they're in different rooms), Pimentel sounded all right.

I wonder when they'll post a transcript of the hour-long podcast, or when they'll produce podcast highlights (7-minute segments).

Still, it is a start. Will Filipino voters take the time to listen? And will the aspirants win voters with their voice? Hmmm... podcasting. What's next, political videoblogs? ;-)
