Day Job Killer

The affiliate marketing world is abuzz with today's launch of Chris McNeeney's Day Job Killer.

It's a 69-page ebook (PDF file) that provides details on tactics affiliate marketers can use to increase their earnings in the year 2007. A number of the tactics make some people uneasy, but the "Day Job Killer" authors are willing to accept the criticism in their bid to make money.

In less than 12 hours since the launch of DJK, over 5000 copies have been sold. Given the launch price of $77 (the authors plan to raise the price soon), that's a cool US$385,000 earned by the authors and their affiliates in about half a day.

What would you do if you earned PhP18.8 million pesos in just half a day? You could already buy two or three house and lots or condo units (with loft area) in Metro Manila with that kind of money.

Those who have invested in the book are already implementing some of the steps outlined in the Day Job Killer. Last time I looked, there were 55 DJK ads (or about 1% of the DJK buyers are already taking action). Looks like this year will be an interesting one for affiliate marketing.

Just to be clear, the information requires you to take action and spend time and energy seeing the activities through. Perhaps it's not really a Day Job Killer; it's more like a Day Job Replacer.

Afterall, you still have to work hard. Hopefully, you'll be among the fortunate ones who are earning at least US$100 a day from affiliate marketing. Some of them are doing it even if they don't have a web site.
