Smart Buddy 3G and Online Photos

With your PLDT Smart Buddy 3G, you can easily upload your photos to Flickr, Kodak Gallery, Yahoo! Photos, and Shutterfly.

And with your PLDT SMART Buddy High Speed Internet connection, you can chat, view and update your blogs (only P10 for every 30 minutes). That's time-based, so there are no per-kilobyte charges.

Please note, however, that each time you log-in, you are charged P10. If you log-in two times and stay on each time for only 10 minutes, you will be charged P20 (even if you cumulative log-in time is 20 minutes).

How to use you SMART Buddy 3G to access Flickr

1. Visit www.flickr.com/mob
2. Login using your old Flickr account (not the new Yahoo! username)
3. To post photos using your WAP/GPRS enabled cell phone, click on "Upload a Photo."

How to access Yahoo! Photos

1. Visit the SMART 3G wap site at http://wap.smart.com.ph/3G
2. Click on "Upload your Photos" link
3. Select "Yahoo!"
4. Click on "Yahoo! Go" and follow the download instructions.

[Note: To download Yahoo! Go, your cell phone (Nokia N70, Nokia 6680 / 6630 / 6600 / 7610) must have at least 2MB of free internal memory, or at least 8MB of free space in your memory card.]

5. Choose "Photos" and start uploading your pictures.

To activate SMART 3G, type SET 3G [phone model] and send to 211. (Ex. SET 3G N70) P2.50 per sms text. You can also upload yoru photos via SMART GPRS for only P10 per 30 minutes.

Take extra care, though, when you use Yahoo! Go, because you might experience hourly charges on your 3G phone.
