You can get a free Samsung Z560 (the first HSDPA cell phone with the fastest net-browsing capability in the country) and a free HP NX6320 laptop (Intel Core Duo Processor, T2300 1.66 GHz with 60 GB hard disk; retails for P98,200) when you:

1. Apply for a G-Plan 5000 and a Globe Visibility Plan for P2000.
2. Are a current subscriber outside the lock-in period on Plan 5000 or higher (note: additional 24-month lock-in period will apply), and must get a Globe Visibility Plan for P2000.
3. Are a current subscriber outside the lock-in period who upgrades to a G-Plan 5000 or higher (again, additional 24-month lock-in period), and must get the P2000 Globe Visibility Plan.
4. Are an existing G-Plan 5000 subscriber within the lock-in period (with at least 12 months tenure since last reward or date of activation; and please note the additional 24-month lock-in period), and must get a Globe Visibility Plan for P2000.

You will find additional details at the Globe Mobile Broadband 3G with HSDPA promo page on how to avail of just a free Samsung Z560 cell phone, or how to get that cell phone at 0% interest with 3, 6, 12, or 18 months' term.

You can visit your nearest Globe Business center or Hub, or call 211 for more information, or even visit www.hub-eshop.com for more details.

Remember, this limited two-week promo runs from November 5-19, 2006.

In summary, expect to shell out P7,000 (GPlan 5000 + Visibility) per month for 24 months, if you want the free cell phone and notebook. There may also be one-time fees such as the P2,000 joining fee for Globe Visibility.

If you just want the free cell phone, the monthly expense is P2,500 (for 24 months). Even if you don't subscribe to Globe Visibility, you can still use your Samsung Z560 as a modem and surf the internet (no unlimited mobile browsing, though).

Looks like Globe is raising the ante in the mobile internet arena.
