Is it true that Ka Pete Lacaba will launch his singing career over the radio airwaves? This Sunday, October 8, between 8:00PM and 9:00PM, at DWBR 104.3 FM, you will hear Ka Pete sing during the program "Harana ng Puso Kasama ang Mabuhay Singers" (Serenade of the Heart, together with the Mabuhay Singers).

He will sing an adaptation in Filipino of the song "La Vie en Rose" ("Kulay Rosas"), and will also read his adaptation of Pablo Neruda's "Puedo escribir..." ("Tagulaylay ni Pablo Napurnada").

The program "Harana ng Puso" is hosted by Michael M. Coroza, Assistant Professor in the Department of Filipino, School of Humanities of the Ateneo de Manila University.

No, they will not discuss the recent basketball tournament between Ateneo and UST. Instead, they will have a short discussion about the creative arts and the Filipino adaptations Lacaba enjoys making.

The show (in Tagalog) is produced by Jeanette Job-Coroza. The Mabuhay Singers are regulars on the show, and among the singing group's members are Cely Bautista, Carmen Camacho, Raye Lucero, Peping de Leon, Eddie Suarez, and Marlon Marifosque.
