PLDT MyDSL Speed Upgrade

Thank you PLDT for upgrading our broadband internet connection speed.

A few days ago, I was caught in some kind of a time warp because PLDT's MyDSL felt like dial-up. It wasn't too bad for basic surfing and site updating, but the Wordpress blogs were taking a hit. At that time, download speed was just 24 kbps (the usual experience is 121kbps).

After checking the internet speed (with the help of the Speakeasy Speedtest), I'm now happy with the 444kbps download speed. Upload speed is 169kbps.

Looks like the PLDT MyDSL upgrade has been completed for my area.

I hope this helps more Filipinos get into videoblogging and podcasting. But don't say goodbye to regular blogging, because you'll never know when broadband internet will suddenly turn into dial-up once again. :-)
