Do you want more people to visit your blog? Then gain more traffic with the help of viral videos.

Viral marketing videos are short, humorous or remarkable video clips that people can easily pass around. With services like YouTube, it is easy to just copy and paste code which displays video on any web site.

If your video is funny or popular enough, then a lot of bloggers (whether they're in Blogspot, MySpace or Friendster) will feature your video on their site. This gives you exposure because you'll end up reaching people you otherwise wouldn't have attracted in the first place.

And for those wondering whether Lebron James was really able to sink four consecutive shots from 75 to 90 feet away, it was just a product of digital magic.

Thankfully, there are a few ad agencies in the Philippines that are getting into viral video creation. I bumped into a Director and asked him to consider creating packages that are more affordable, to help other bloggers kickstart their web site traffic with the help of a cool viral video.

Production costs should be fairly low, because the video produced will not be of TV quality. It's just for YouTube (small, low resolution files for quick downloading). You don't need specialized equipment. In terms of blog advertising, the blogger's URL will be displayed at the bottom of the video.
