Videoblogs and Komikeros

A Komikero is a Pinoy comic book creator. Gerry Alanguilan, a Laguna-based komikero, posted a videoblog entry.

In the Komikero Meeting Video Report comments section (posted by Jonas Diego), you'll learn the details behind how Jonas easily removes those blue guidelines from his inked drawings with the help of Photoshop.

You'll also find out where he gets those cool 0.7mm blue lead. I'll probably get some of those for my mechanical pencil.

It's great to see more Pinoys like Gerry Alanguilan getting into video blogging. Thanks to YouTube, worries about bandwidth costs are now a thing of the past. I just wonder when the gravy train will end, though. In the meantime, keep on making videos!

For those interested in creating vlogs (video blogs), check out this Free Vlog Tutorial courtesy of Ryanne Hodson and Michael Verdi. I made a post before about his daughter in The Youngest VBlogger.

I wonder, though, why FreeVlog.org chose to host its own MOV video files instead of hosting them at YouTube. As a result, it takes a while before I'm able to view their videos. The YouTube-hosted videos, on the other hand, download faster.

Anyway, check out Ryanne and Michael's tutorial, especially in you want to create .mp4 videos that can play in video iPods.
