Micropodcasting

Pressured by the thought of not producing a single podcast episode for the month of June, Manuel turns to micropodcasting.

I used to produce 2 or 3 episodes each month in the Viloria.com Pinoy Podcast, but recent hectic schedules eased me out of the usual 1-1/2 to 2 hour sessions spent writing, recording, post-producing, and uploading those 7-minute Tagalog podcasts.

That's why I decide to micropodcast, or produce a podcast that runs less than 3 minutes.

What's the advantage? Well, aside from dramatically cutting down on post-production time, the listener is able to focus on learning to speak Tagalog, because the short episode tackles only one Tagalog phrase (instead of the previous 7-10 phrases).

If you're hesitant to try podcasting, why not micropodcast? You might even have fun. :-)
