Law Internet & Society Program (Dean Salvador T. Carlota of the UP College of Law and Jose Jesus M. Disini Jr., Program Director of UP Law ISP) and Janette Toral was a success. Keynote addresses were delivered by Rebecca Mackinnon and Dr. Ronald Meinardus. Got to see (aside from the people mentioned above): Annalyn Jusay, Noemi Lardizabal-Dado, Abe Olandres, Zarah Gagatiga, Maita Siquijor, Markku Seguerra, Pocholo Gonzales, Mike Abundo, Marc Macalua, Lionel Gonzaga, Gail Dela Cruz, Juned Sonido, Jove Francisco, J. Dr. Meinardus: Audio is powerful; there is great potential for podcasting. MLQ3: You can never link too much. Link to everything and everyone, even to those who annoy you. Who are we to deprive other people of blog traffic? Davao City councilor Peter Laviña: Blogging and advocating G2C/C2G (Govt to Citizens/Citizens to Govt) communication takes time and commitment. Zarah Gagatiga: Don't just use technology in education. Consider your school's technology policy. Focus on the learner. (I wonder though if Zarah will cringe when she sees my mostly-photos Powerpoint presentation.) :-) Abe Olandres: In problogging, passion wins. Dean Francis Alfar: Do note fear tomorrow (that's French for "Do not fear tomorrow"). :-) Writers, just write. Grab those nano slices of time in between your pressing obligations and just write. Don't publish your work in full online, if you want publishers to pay you for your creation. If you want to write fan fiction for practice, that's fine; otherwise, write while playing in the sandbox of your own imagination. I hope they'll post some of the other presentations at the iBlogPH.org site. Related:
