Should Pinoy Big Brother Be Banned?

Someone is asking for information in support of banning Pinoy Big Brother, so I got curious.

Manong Guard is banned from watching PBB because his girlfriend does not like the way he stares at "Hot Mama" (That's Jenny who previously left, but is now returning to Big Brother's house.)

Rickey would have probably lambasted PBB... if only it were available on The Filipino Channel (TFC). Check out the 421 (as of last count) comments on that page.

Anyway, here are some reasons why (for the sake of argument) PBB should be banned:

1. Students stay up too late just to watch the show.

2. Pinoys are more affected by what they see because they tend to relate more to the characters on-screen.

3. Uh, the PBB Theme Song (by Orange and Lemons) sounds so much like "Chandeliers" (by The Care). (I sense some influence from Life, by The Cardigans.) Anyway, here's the denial of Orange and Lemons.
