Jack 'N Jill Snacks Nostalgia

Hello and welcome again to another podcast here at Viloria.com, and today we will be taking a trip down memory lane. Specifically, a trip down SNACKFOODS memory lane.

More than thirty years ago, I was munching on the ever popular Jack N Jill Chippy snacks, Jack N Jill Chiz Curls, Prawn Curls, Barbecue Curls and Jack N Jill Potato Chips.

Some people have been asking me whether the old flavors such as the pink Prawn Curls, orange Munchees, yellow Barbecue Curls, Jojo chewy candy and other snack items of the 1960s or 70s will ever come back. Well, I really don't know.

Anyway, Universal Robina Corporation has aired this new commercial that blends both the old and new Jack N Jill products. For example, you'll see Nova multigrain chips.

I've been getting questions about the jingle that plays in the background. The song is entitled "Saya ng Buhay" (Life is Happy), and is performed by a band called Kartoon Chemistry whose vocalist is Chochai Magno.
