SMART Launches Unlimited SMS Text

SMART launches its 258 or Unlimited Calls / Unlimited Text for its cell phone subscribers.

For unlimited Smart-to-Smart voice calls, P115 of prepaid load is good for 10 days. For unlimited text, P60 of prepaid load is good for 6 days. For either service, your cell phone must have a maintaining balance of at least P1.00 after registration and during the 10-day (voice call) or 6-day (text) period.

Unlimited Voice

1. Register first by texting 258 to the number 889 (You must have at least P115 in your load)

2. To actually make the call, text the number of the SMART subscriber you wish to call, and send that number to 882. For example, text 09198888888 to 882.

3. After a while, 882 will call you cellphone. Answer it and you will hear a ring tone (that's the cell phone of the person you were trying to call.

[NOTE: After using Smart 258, if you wish to make a regular call, just dial the number you wish to call.]

Unlimited Text (Service starts on March 15, 2005)

1. Make sure you have at least P60 in your cell phone load.

2. Text 258 and send it to 883

3. You will receive confirmation that you can enjoy unlimited texting with other SMART subscribers for 6 days.

This 258 service is available to all prepaid brands on the SMART network: SMART Buddy Pre-paid, Talk 'N Text, SMART Kid, and AMP (Addict Mobile Prepaid)
