Three Year Maternity LeaveCongratulations to AnP and J and their baby boy! I was surprised to read that in Germany, they're entitled to three-year maternity leaves, and if you plan to return to work six months after you give birth, you're bound to get some flak. [an error occurred while processing this directive]Whoa. Moms here in the Philippines get back to work after a little over a month. And here we are thinking that we're too soft on our kids. Then again, we Pinoys tend to carry our kids too often, right? Three year maternity leaves. Non-stop carrying of kids even in the middle of the night. No matter what country you're in, you're bound to find overly-protective parents. Buti na lang... =) Lifetime maternity leaves, anyone?
