A Glass of WaterLast night, at a friend's birthday dinner, Angel and I shared a table with some women who either asked: "How are the two of you related?" or "Are you married?" Apparently we didn't look married because we look too young. At least that's what the psychologist at the table said. [an error occurred while processing this directive]Anyway, I just sat there and wondered what makes a couple look married. Is it the ring? Is it the holding hands thing? (Naaa, you'll probably be branded as bf/gf but not married, right?) Or is it the hand-on-elbow-as-you-cross-the-street dance step? Then it hits me. You can't really see it from the outside, unless of course there are kids screaming about while mom and dad sit together and glare at the little ones. But seriously, you'll look married only if you peek inside. Inside your thoughts and inside your heart. I know, mushy-mushy stuff. But for those looking for the "married look" I'd say look for the little things. You know, the BORING things you do for each other. Like when you give someone a glass of water.
