The KL Series Starts: More Phone Roaming Problems (May 25, 2004)
"Well, nothing is ever for sure. I ended up buying an Extisave phone card at Lot 10 Mall (look for the information desk on the first floor.) I got the card worth RM 30 (that's about P450) but there were also cards worth 20,50, and 100."

Staying at The Regent Kuala Lumpur (May 26, 2004)
"On this last KL trip, we stayed at The Regent Kuala Lumpur on Jalan Bukit Bintang. It has a good location, right in the middle of it all and within walking distance to major malls and shopping areas."

Places to Visit in Kuala Lumpur: KLCC Suria, Petaling St. (June 9, 2004)
"KLCC (for KL City Center) Suria is a mall near the Petronas Twin Towers. My officemate's KL-based cousin describes it as something like Shangri-la Plaza mall here in Manila. There's an interesting book store called Kinokuniya at the 4th level, if I remember right."

The Petronas Twin Towers and Putrajaya (June 10, 2004)
"What? Petronas isn't the world's tallest building anymore? That was the question in my mind as I was on my way to the Sky Bridge on the 41st floor. Well, they are still the world's tallest twin towers but Taipei 101 is now the world's tallest building and Petronas ranks second."

Tour Bird Watching (July 6, 2004)
"Looking for a place to take the kids in Kuala Lumpur? I'm sure they will enjoy going to the K.L. Bird Park, said to be the world's largest walk-in free flight aviary."

Kuala Lumpur Tower (July 6, 2004)
"On our last night in Kuala Lumpur, we went to the KL Tower to see all of KL from its observation deck. You can take an audio tour - which you can go about at your own pace - with the headset and contraption that the staff provide you with."
