I quit school about 11 years ago (as a teacher) but my eldest son is in Grade 1. That should explain the yipee part. Don't you agree with me that kids are so stressed out these days, along with their parents? The whole time I went through school, I never felt the strain. Maybe it's all a matter of perspective. PGMA just declared October 31 a non-working holiday - for government workers only. Can't understand the logic behind that considering that "private sector" workers likewise troop to the cemeteries on November 1. [more]

I'm still alive folks! So sorry to all who regularly drop by this site - and all you see is my last entry on September 15, I think. Truly pitiful. Things have been a blur, at home (quarterly exams!) and at work and throw in an asthma attack. [more]
