All parents, I suppose, worry about their kids being bothered by bullies. That is true, of course, assuming your kid is NOT the bully. Teaching our kids how to handle bullies is quite tricky. How do you teach your kid to survive and defend himself while making sure that he does not get the idea that to hurt another person is okay?

There were 33 girls (ok, ladies) out of a batch of 86 who came. Has it really been 20 years? Yes, it has been that long but looking around the room, I'd say the batch aged (well, everybody has to age...) pretty well.

We were at the doctors last weekend and Monday for Ali's regular monitoring for Kawasaki Disease. Her 2D echo was normal and so the next one is scheduled in December 2004. That will be the last!

We bought some "SuperSavers" eggs (what is it about our entries and eggs these days?) the other time and my almost 8-year old son, Adi, saw it. He asked: "What does this mean, SuperSavers? Does it mean this is so expensive? That you have to save a lot to buy it?"

WHAT IS IT ABOUT? The story is about two dinosaur friends, Mitchell and Margo. Mitchell becomes bored with staying in the same house for a long time and so he decides to move. Margo tries to keep him from moving away but he still proceeds. In the end, true friendship survives even Mitchell's moving away.

You still have until September 5, 2004 to catch Lea Salonga's latest musical, called Baby, at the Meralco Theater. You may get your tickets at all Ticketworld outlets. For those in the Ortigas area, tickets are available at the National BookStore, Shangri-la Plaza branch. Best to call first though, just to make sure that tickets are not sold out yet.
