The days have been quite stressful recently: major decisions needing to be made, household help trouble, kids getting sick. If not for Didagen Dilangalen, I may not have been able to smile or entertain myself in the last few days.

On this last KL trip, we stayed at The Regent Kuala Lumpur on Jalan Bukit Bintang. It has a good location, right in the middle of it all and within walking distance to major malls and shopping areas. Lot 10 and Sungei Wang (where you have department stores like Parkson Grand, if I remember correctly) are in the area. Beside The Regent, there's also some sort of tunnel that allows you to get to the other side of the road (more shopping and more eating) even when it's raining. And it was, when we were there so that was very convenient.

I'd hate to start this Kuala Lumpur visit series with a problem but I might as well get this out of my system. My phone didn't work on time again. Remember, India? Well, it happened again and I ain't amused. I wonder why they offer roaming services at all for prepaid accounts when twice, I have not been able to use my phone - contrary to their promises.

The rainy season appears to have started early here in the Philippines. We are not yet into the month of June (which I've always thought as the official start of the rainy season) and already we have had typhoons Dindo and another one, the name of which escapes me at the moment.

It has been a long absence on the net - still, things remain the same. As usual, my excuse is that I have been busy at work and at home, hence no angelhouser for days. The elections are over, Manny Pacquiao is still a winner, and I have been to Jeju (some spell it Cheju) Island in Korea in the last few days.

On Sunday, Manila time, Pinoys will be taking a breather from election fever as we all root for Manny Pacquiao in his fight with Marquez. I envy my US-based brother who will actually be flying to Las Vegas to see the fight live. I just hope his ticket, airfare, and hotel expenses will be all worth it. So, in your prayers today till Sunday, aside from peaceful and honest polls, please pray for Manny Pacquiao's victory.

Just checked the other side of the fence - where my husband's Second Thoughts entries are - and I don't see his forecast yet. We both agreed that based on our reading of how the polls will go (and considering our own survey here at viloria), we will come up with our own prediction of who will win the elections this Monday, complete with ranking.

If your choice is truly PGMA, then by all means, vote for her. If you honestly believe that FPJ will lead this country to greatness, by all means, vote for him. But if you are one of several people who have said: "Gusto ko talaga si Roco kaya lang hindi naman mananalo. At ayaw ko kay FPJ, kaya PGMA na lang" - please re-think your position.

Sorry for that long lag. Time went by so fast and I was so busy preparing for a trip, for training -- that I no longer had time to write. Well, am back from such a busy schedule and also from Kuala Lumpur so hopefully, the entries will be more regular.
