I used to dread the Holy Week. I was younger once and I guess the thought of having no television shows to watch (there was no cable then) or nowhere fun to go, scared me somewhat.

Sometime back, my daughter Ali turned seven years old. For some reason (age and workload perhaps), I did not have the energy nor the motivation to hold a party which would have 100 or so guests coming, with details to take care of like party venue, food, loot bags, party decorations, etc. It was then that I decided that I would just have a different type of party for her and in my search, I found Marta's Cakes!
