Servant Leadership WorkshopThe 7th Servant Leadership Workshop, a one-and-a-half day management workshop, will be held on July 23-24, 2009 at the RCBC Plaza in Makati City. Participants will learn from modules designed by One-Minute Manager best selling author Ken Blanchard and Phil Hodges. [an error occurred while processing this directive]Do you have what it takes to be a servant leader? A servant leader focuses on building up people and developing them, while upholding expectations of employee performance. As a servant leader, you will learn to listen, to persuade, to build trust in the workplace; and to commit to the growth of people you work with. The concept of servant leadership works with all kinds of organizations, from big corporations, to not-for-profit entities, and even for churches and parishes, universities, and foundations. I suppose it will also work for the Philippines so this might be a good workshop to attend for all those who are interested to run for political office, particularly the presidentiables! That might just be the change we need! Through the Workshop, participants will learn about The Four Dimensions of Leadership; The Heart of the Servant Leader; The Habits of a Servant Leader; The Hands of a Servant Leader; and Next Steps and Resources. There will be activities and exams (if I understood correctly) to make the sessions more interesting. The workshop will be conducted by Boris Joaquin. Boris Joaquin is Marketing Director of World Vision Philippines. If you join the workshop, by the way, a portion of the fee that you pay will go to World Vision to help needy children get an education. Imagine that. You are able to learn and improve yourself and at the same time, help others for life. If you are interested to attend the workshop, the training investment is P7,977 +12% VAT. You can call 813 2703/32 to inquire or to reserve. Ask for Ella or Juliet. This workshop is being organized by Salt & Light Ventures, Inc.
