Freelance WritingDo you want to learn about freelance writing? If you answered yes to that question, then you may want to check out Freelance Writing for Dummies. [an error occurred while processing this directive]Freelance Writing for Dummies is a two-day workshop that will guide you through the world of freelance writing. So if you want to be a freelance writer, on a part-time or full-time basis, this course is for you! This will be held on November 4 and 6, from 6 to 9:30pm at KOLEKTIB, Cubao Expo, Araneta Center, Cubao. Course fees are reasonable and when I say reasonable, assuming that you do get to successfully do freelance writing after, you can easily re-coup your investment with just one writing assignment. Who will be handling the workshop? The workshop will be handled by Nina Terol, a full-time freelance writer, communications consultant, and emerging social entrepreneur. I met Nines through a mutual friend sometime this year and I can see (or should I say, I can read) that she is passionate about writing and about being Filipino. She is part of Team RP. Nines is a regular contributor to MEGA Magazine and has also written for publications like Philippine Daily Inquirer, myHome, Entrepreneur Philippines, Smart Parenting, Cosmo Philippines, Pinoy World, and Starfish, among others. So, being a freelance writer herself, you are sure to learn a lot! I've also done freelance writing in the past. Being a blogger has helped a lot as my blog posts serve as some sort of portfolio that publications can go through. I used to write for a Fil-Am community newspaper in the US and for a local home magazine. Now, my days are so busy given my day job and my family that there's hardly enough time to write. Oh, and there's the book to take care of. Maybe I'll do freelance writing again when I'm retired. So are you interested in the course?
