Market at the Hills

I dropped by the Market at the Hills, the newest weekend market in the metropolis located at The Clubhouse at Temple Drive in Quezon City. It just started today, April 5, 2008, and will be ongoing every Saturday and Sunday thereafter from 7am to 2pm.

Market at the Hills positions itself as featuring the top chefs showcasing gourmet specialties. When I went at about 8am this morning, there was a good amount of food and vendors available although there were still a good number of empty stalls. I figured the stalls and the place would start to fill up towards lunchtime most likely. There were a lot of food warmers already on the tables but the chefs and the food were still nowhere to be found.

There are some tables in the middle of it all -- so I guess you can drop by the market at lunchtime and have a meal there. In the coming days, will let you know some of the items that I was able to buy there.

For residents of Corinthian Hills, White Plains, Corinthian Gardens, Arcadia, Greenmeadows, and Acropolis, here's another weekend market for you to check out.

As for entrepreneurs who would like to inquire as to how to get a stall there, you can call 687-6770 to 74 in Metro Manila, Philippines.

For buyers with cars, some cars just parked along Temple Drive itself but if you don't want to park on the road, there's ample parking space in the basement. Then again, should the Market at the Hills really take off and become successful in the coming weeks, that parking area may not be enough.

Happy selling! Happy buying! Happy eating!
