Good Friday

Today, March 21, 2008 is Good Friday. We commemorate the day that Christ died on the cross to save us from death and sin.

Earlier today, I was asking my kids what day it was today and my eldest said that it was Good Friday. My daughter then asked: "Mommy, why is it called Good Friday?"

I don't know the real reason behind the term so I replied by saying: "Because God is good all the time..."

It is almost the end of Good Friday so if you are reading this now, please take some time to pause, reflect, and just say a short prayer of thanks to a God Who makes all things new -- our God Who makes all things good in His time.

I hope you had a restful and meaningful Lenten Season. Have a glorious Easter as we put our hope in Christ our Savior.
