Repertory Philippines' Fiddler on the Roof

From November 9 to December 16, 2007, Repertory Philippines will be restaging Fiddler on the Roof at the Onstage Theater in Greenbelt 1, Makati City. Fiddler on the Roof is one of the musical theater classics and we remember catching the Repertory Philippines production before at the Meralco Theater.

The staging that we watched before had Miguel Faustmann as Tevye and Baby Barredo as Golde. This year's staging will have Tyler Allan Strand and Miguel Faustmann still, alternating as Tevye while Joy Virata and Pinky Marquez will be alternating in the role of Golde.

Fiddler on the Roof features very popular songs like If I Were a Rich Man; Sunrise, Sunset; and Matchmaker. It's an entertaining, touching story about life, family, and tradition.
