JK RowlingEver since the launch of the seventh and final book of Harry Potter, my son, Adi has been asking me quite frequently: "How did she make so much money?" I respond by saying that she wrote a story which was interesting enough to a whole lot of people. [an error occurred while processing this directive]I then ask him if he would like to do the same thing -- write a story so he can be a "billionaire author." He looks at me, thinks, shakes his head and says: "Nah -- I just want the money." Well, a billion dollars does not fall on one's lap just like that. Just yesterday, my husband asked me: "Ikaw, Angel, gusto mo ba na magka 1 billion dollars?" (What about you, Angel, do you want a billion dollars?) I pause and answer: "Ok lang." (Wag nyo sana isipin na sinungaling ako pero ok lang talaga.) My husband was also surprised with my answer and said: "Ok lang?" I don't know. With a great amount of money, comes a lot of headaches. What would you do if you had JK Rowling's talent and her billion dollars?
