Viruses I've Met Lately

There's a bug going around the metropolis and a lot of people I know have caught it. I caught it a few weeks ago and till now, am still recovering from my cough.

The bug likes me a lot. =)

This last virus I met was kind of strange. No high fever -- just in the 37.8 range but I really felt bad for about 2-3 days. Prior to my getting sick, my kids got sick too. My son also had cough and colds but didn't get a fever. My daughter, on the other hand, didn't get cough and colds but had a one day fever. I just thought these viruses are quite unlike the ones I met in my childhood.

Well, am slowly on my way to full recovery and I have given this cough until tomorrow to get lost. I hope am successful in driving it away.

As for my daughter, she had another one-day fever thing after I got sick and she came up to me and said:

"Mommy, I think I caught your fly."

I looked at her strangely, smiled, and realized that she meant "bug." Bug, fly -- whatever... Stay healthy. Keep away from those mean and strange viruses.
