Cosmetic SurgeryIf you had tons of money, would you undergo any cosmetic surgery procedure? Would you pamper yourself and say, get a body scrub, every week? (Sorry about that. Hard to resist given that we keep being bombarded about body scrub talk here in the Philippines every single day.) [an error occurred while processing this directive]What part of your body would you change or enhance if you could? Would you keep it a secret or would you flaunt the fact that you had some cosmetic surgery done? I probably wouldn't go for any cosmetic surgery procedure. I'll just spend my money on travel and food. =) But different strokes for different folks. The proliferation of such clinics here (Belo, Calayan) and globally show just how popular these cosmetic procedures have become in recent years. They used to say "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Now, it's in the hands of the cosmetic surgeon or the digital artist. I once heard a funny anecdote about a lady who just had some cosmetic procedure done. She was asked: "Are those real?" The lady replied: "Of course, they're real. In fact, I paid for them myself." We live in a world of cosmetic surgery. What you see is sometimes different from what you really get. For as long as you have the money though and the confidence to see the procedure through, then you are free to do as you please. Next patient, please.
