Chinese New Year

Hap-pig New Year! It's goodbye to the Year of the Dog this coming February 18, 2007 and hello to the Year of the Pig or the Year of the Fire Boar.

I have no idea what all the feng shui experts are saying about what the Year of the Pig will bring. How was the Year of the Dog for me? Not too bad -- I just decided that I didn't want to work (like a dog?) anymore.

Well, kung hei fat choi everybody! Given that it's the year of the pig -- Please don't be dirty. Don't overeat and don't be noisy (like a pig about to be brought to the slaughterhouse). Please be healthy (maybe my daughter will now gain the needed pounds?). Be jolly and may the coming year give you lots of reasons to squeal in delight. =)
