Christmas Rush

Sorry for the long silence over here on our little corner of the web. We are fine. It's just that the Christmas rush has started.

We are now busy wrapping gifts, attending Christmas parties, meeting up with friends, watching our kids' Christmas programs -- not to mention reviewing for exams! My son just finished his last 3rd quarter exam yesterday so with school over in just a few days, I'll be freer and less busy! Woo-hoo! =)

My daughter just finished her Christmas party at school yesterday and they had a presentation called "The Best Christmas Present Ever." During the introduction to the program, the grade school principal talked about how our concerns this season would probably be what present to give to people around us. There is nothing wrong with gift-giving or being caught up in all the activities that come with the Christmas season. The important thing to remember is that each Christmas reminds us of the greatest Christmas Present that we have all received: God's Only Son -- Jesus Christ. Could we ask for anything more then? In Christ, we have everything we will ever really need.
