Nestle CreameryIf you belong to my generation, you probably remember your childhood when you would go to the Magnolia Ice Cream House on Aurora Boulevard at the Magnolia Ice Cream Compound. I remember that I liked going there because of the peach melba! We would also buy ice cream (orange twin popsies and Pinipig Crunch or drumstick) from the nearby factory, complete with dry ice which I would then put in water, and play with at home. [an error occurred while processing this directive]If you happen to be a parent now, you can still have your kids enjoy the same thing you experienced but the place is now called the Nestle Creamery. It is open from 10am-10pm, Mondays to Sundays. Those in Metro Manila, Philippines, can call them at 415-7872 to inquire. The Nestle Creamery now offers other dishes, ice cream good for 3 or 4 people to share, and the Marble Slab where you can mix your own ice cream concoctions. The place likewise has an area that can be used for various functions like birthday parties. We hope to revisit the place one of these days with the kids and we will let you know how that turns out. I am sure I will feel like a kid again and that's cool. =) [By Angelica Viloria | Wednesday, November 8, 2006] [an error occurred while processing this directive]Copyright © 2001-2012 by Angelica Bautista Viloria.
