All Souls' Day and All Saints' Day

Tomorrow, November 1, it will be a non-working holiday here in the Philippines. Most Filipinos will be trekking to the provinces and to the cemeteries to pay their respects to their dearly departed family members and relatives.

How will you observe this special day or occasion? The best way you can remember the dead is to offer prayers for them: offer a mass, a rosary for the repose of their souls. I read previously that when a person has died, that person has to rely on the living to help him or her get from purgatory to heaven. So please remember to pray for all the souls in purgatory. We will all be in the same situation one day.
