Gift Ideas and Gawad Kalinga

First Year B of St. Pedro Poveda College is offering an assortment of Spanish goodies (wines and pastries) for you to try out and all sales proceeds will go to Gawad Kalinga. Products offered include: Marques de Riscal Tempranillo 1860, Marques de Riscal Rueda Blanco, and pastries like argellanas (crisp puffy pastry with sugar glaze), palillos de milan (pastry sticks topped with meringue), lenguas de gato, and mamon tostado (not the usual kind but topped with queso de bola). All items are reasonably priced and are sure to be appreciated by the individuals you will give them to. Shelf life of the pastries is 3 months.

For Poveda parents, you may send your orders/payment through your daughters and pick the goods up at the PPA office. Orders will be accepted till about mid-December 2006. For non-Poveda parents, arrangements can be made on how to pick up the items.
