Pillar Plants and Novelties

If you have visited Kusina Salud (you may search our archives for our previous write-up or entry about that), you most likely caught sight of a store right up front called Pillar Plants and Novelties. If you check out that shop, you'll find various trinkets, old books like Asterix (for only P50 each), Rizaliana (for P60 each), and broas (ladyfinger cookies) from Quezon which sell for P180 a can.

They sell other items and furniture, most interesting of which are the small molave chairs that sell for P2,000 each. They look so cute and sturdy, your kids will probably enjoy sitting on them. As the friendly staff told us when we were there, "puwede na pong ipamana yang mga silyang yan." (These are chairs that can be handed down from generation to generation.)
