The Power SourceLast night, it rained quite heavily in Metro Manila, complete with lightning and thunder. The lights went out several times as we were eating dinner. [an error occurred while processing this directive]The lights would go off for a few minutes and then power would be restored. That happened thrice or four times. Once the power went back on permanently, we heaved a sigh of relief. "Ay salamat, naayos na." (Thank goodness, it got fixed.) Ali: Who fixed it? Mommy: Meralco. Ali: Who is Meralco? Mommy: The one who gives us power. Ali: God? I had to explain that I was talking about electricity, another kind of power. Then again, Ali's one bright kid. She knows the Real Power Source. God bless all of you this weekend. Have a good work week ahead.
