2006 Summer Workshops and Classes: Swimming Class

Do you want your kid to learn how to swim this summer? You may want to consider having him or her learn to swim under Coach Pat at the Corinthian Gardens Clubhouse pool.

Classes are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with the following timeslots: 2:30 to 4pm; 4-5:30pm; and 5:30 to 7pm. The fee is P3,000 for 8 one and a half hour meetings. This fee is inclusive of pool fees.

What's good about Coach Pat's classes? He has a good number of teachers (some of them Palarong Pambansa champions) so your kid spends a good portion of the class swimming and not just sitting, watching the other kids swim. The first thing they teach your kid is to be comfortable in the water, to move around in the water -- so even if your kid's form isn't too good yet, you are sure he or she can survive in the pool whether shallow or deep. There are no fixed dates for the 8 sessions, so if you miss one class as you have something else to attend to, you can always make up. They will just count the actual number of sessions you have had already.
