Manny Pacquiao

Tomorrow, at about 8am, Manila time, Manny Pacquiao goes for his rematch versus Erik "El Terrible" Morales. Can all Pinoys say a prayer for the Pacman so that he wins?

I saw his Circulan commercial recently on TV and I thought that was good. Dugong Pinoy. Dugong Circulan. (Pinoy blood, Circulan blood). For those who have not seen the commercial of this medication which is supposed to improve blood circulation and keep you strong, the theme is how the Pinoy never gives up despite difficulties and challenges. When I get the chance the view the commercial again, I will write down the actual words and share them here.

Anyway, tomorrow, for a few hours, Pinoys will be one in thought and desire -- that Manny Pacquiao wins. Our country needs a lift. I need a lift. Was very close to writing an entry yesterday called "Power Poof" Girl -- as in hindi na kaya ng powers ko. =) But that would be too boring for all of you. But just like Manny Pacquiao, when you get clobbered and get cut, you rise up and live to fight another day. And today, is a new day.
